Select a phone number
The user selects a phone number on a webpage and chooses Call with Active Call Manager from the right-click menu.
This policy explains how the Active Call Manager browser extension handles selected phone numbers, tenant tab access and right-click dialing from Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
This policy applies only to the Active Call Manager browser extension. The main Call Manager Services Privacy Policy continues to apply to Call Manager Edge, CRM integrations, call records, recordings, support access, client-controlled communication data and related services.
The extension is a browser helper. It does not place calls by itself. It sends the user-selected phone number to an already-open and logged-in Call Manager Edge session, where the approved call workflow is handled.
The user selects a phone number on a webpage and chooses Call with Active Call Manager from the right-click menu.
The extension finds the user’s logged-in Call Manager Edge tenant tab, such as https://clientname.activecallmanager.com.
Call Manager Edge applies the configured user account, assigned extension, permissions, availability checks and calling workflow.
The extension acts only when the user chooses the right-click call action. It does not continuously scan webpages for phone numbers.

The browser extension is not a monitoring, advertising, analytics or tracking extension. It is a dialing helper for approved Call Manager users.
The selected phone number is sent to the user’s open Call Manager Edge portal so Edge can start the call through the existing click-to-call workflow.

Call records, call recordings, CRM-linked activity records, reports, transcripts and related communication records are handled under the client-approved Call Manager Edge deployment, storage, access and retention model.
